If there’s one thing better than a snowball fight, it’s a snowball fight where the whole city is invited.
That’s what happened in Boston, Massachusetts, where, with schools and colleges closed for a snow day, people gathered on Boston Common to commence full-on snowball war.

The event was organised via Facebook, with the invitation going out to “anyone and everyone”.

It looks pretty fun and it’s definitely bigger than any snowball fight we’ve ever been involved in.
But given more than 1,000 people said they were attending on Facebook, we can’t help but wonder if the turnout was the tiniest bit disappointing.

Storms on the east coast of America dumped more than a foot of snow in the area on Thursday, with schools closed in many cities and many flights cancelled.
Schools in Boston are closed again today – so maybe it’s time for a rematch…
