John Bercow made headlines earlier this week for his frank comments about Donald Trump not being welcome in Parliament.
But some people think all the attention that’s surrounded him since has gone straight to his head, judging by the latest PMQs session.
Just look how nonchalantly he wore his robe.
Emboldened after taking on the leader of the free world, Bercow is rocking that off the shoulder look with merry abandon #PMQs pic.twitter.com/r7Y7XE7MhU

Bercow: unlikely legend, eh. #PMQs

He didn’t hold back from shushing the Chamber and throwing out some sassy one-liners, including when he told Labour MP for Liverpool Walton Stephen Rotherham to save the shouting for the stands at Anfield.
Bercow is playing a blinder today, calming down the overly excited MPs. #PMQs

Bercow is apparently concerned that questions, should be answered?! #pmqs #bbcdp there's a novelty [haven't heard an answer yet]

Though not everyone’s keen on him.

Bercow isn't funny anymore.
He has ruined is image.
Just comes across as irritating now.— Graham (@Graham_McD) February 8, 2017
Bercow is getting too big for his boots. Or has it always been that way? #PMQs

And think he didn’t do a very good job of said shushing at all.
#PMQs #Bercow Mr Speaker failed miserably to keep order today. Ridiculously rowdy house that has given me a splitting headache.

Instead of rambling about Trump it would be nice to see Bercow do his job & actually ask May to answer some direct questions. #PMQs

He seemed to enjoy himself anyway.
