Dash cam footage has been released of a double decker passenger train ripping through a lorry trailer in Utah.
Without warning, a train smashes through the back of the FedEx lorry, narrowly missing the cab with the driver inside.
The lorry’s double trailer load goes flying, and the train continues at a high speed.
It’s not known why the crossing’s barrier, lights and bell failed, gaving drivers no warning of the oncoming train.
The footage was recorded by a camera on the dashboard of a police car that happened to be approaching the crossing at the time.
The barriers did finally come down, and two police officers ran from their car to help.
Luckily, none of the 82 train passengers or the two people in the lorry’s cab were seriously injured.
