An estimated 100,000 people took to the streets of London, and cities and towns around the world, to protest Donald Trump’s arrival in the White House.

Among them was London mayor Sadiq Khan, who found himself on camera next to a group of women singing Sister Sledge and urging him to join in.

It’s not something the mayor looked entirely comfortable with…

Those eyes are screaming “help me”.

But his presence was appreciated and hey, let’s face it, we’re not all blessed with a good singing voice.

Yvette Cooper was among the other politicians who joined the Women’s March, of which there were said to be over 600 taking place worldwide, and outlined her reasons for being there. The huge crowds left many people feeling energised.

Marchers across the world have been pointing out that it’s not just women’s rights that are on the agenda, but all the isms that make people’s lives difficult or unsafe.

And women weren’t alone in showing their dissatisfaction.

All in all, for the organisers of the march, it’s been a very successful day.
