Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt went on Radio 4′s Today programme to reject the claim made by the Red Cross on Friday that the NHS was experiencing a “humanitarian crisis”.
He also said hospitals were actually performing “slightly better” than this time last year and that only “one or two” have been under severe pressure.
But people on Twitter are having none of it.

They’re wondering where he’s actually been during the winter ‘crisis’ – so they’ve been producing some wanted posters. How sensible.
Please look under stones or at the bottom of murky ponds. #JeremyHunt still missing. pic.twitter.com/KhuIA08roL

There’s very little sympathy for him out there.
Saw #JeremyHunt trending. What a beautiful irony it'd be if he'd been missing so long due to waiting in A&E at a struggling #NHS hospital.
