FORMER Spice Girl Mel B has offered a $5,000 (£4,000) reward to catch a thief who broke into her car.

The singer (41), has posted black and white footage on Instagram of a man appearing to remove suitcases from her vehicle, which was parked outside her home in Beverly Hills, in the early hours.

The star, previously known as Scary Spice, asked fans to contact her husband Stephen Belafonte with any information about the incident.

“I have a five thousand dollar reward to anyone who knows this asshole,” she wrote.

“I don’t care who was involved I want this guy caught.

“At 5.42am last night this scum bag did this to my car.

“DM my husband @stephenthinks11. We will wire you the monies for turning him in. The police are investigating but I need your help NOW right on my own doorstep in Los Angeles Beverly Hills.”

The singer, who has been hosting The X Factor in Australia, warned: “Neighbour by neighbour we are going to track you down.

“The police already have a good idea who you are, but in the meantime anybody who wants to make that 5000 dollars DM my hubby right now”.

The singer, real name Melanie Brown, is reuniting with fellow former Spice Girls Geri Horner and Emma Bunton – collectively as GEM – and their new track was recently leaked online.
