Cataloguing Brooklyn Beckham’s tattoos is a job Sleb Safari takes very seriously indeed. From ‘mamma’s boy’ on his chest, to a camera on his bicep, ballerina on his leg and ‘Pure’, ‘Energy’ and ‘Click’ on three fingers, it is, as they say, an eclectic mix.

Brooklyn, heir to the Beckham (purple velvet) throne (x2), married his beloved, heiress Nicola Peltz, last month and no sooner had the ink dried on their marriage certificate than he was in a tattoo artist’s chair asking to be inked.

Brooklyn already has oodles of tributes to his wife tattooed on his body. Her eyes - and brows - are on the nape of his neck with his hairline doubling as a fringe and when he wears a t-shirt they stare at strangers. Does it creep people out when they are standing in a queue behind him? Most likely.

Directly below the eyes is written a note Nicola once penned, which begins with the words: “My forever boy, read this anytime you feel anxious.” Perhaps Brooklyn is more double jointed than science previously believed possible in humans?

To that collection he has added his lengthy wedding vows.

“Nicola when you walked down the aisle you took my breath away you look so beautiful tonight and always,” the vows begin.

“Let me start by saying that words cannot even describe my love for you just looking at you I see my future and it feels like a dream. You are my world and I continue to fall more in love with you every single day.”

And so forth and so on. Trés romantique!

Sleb Safari is fascinated by Brooklyn Beckham’s brand which is founded on his parents’ talent and celebrity.

At 23 he has already dabbled in several professions. His newest ‘career’ is in the kitchen, his own kitchen to be precise, and he showcases his cooking on Instagram. Sleb Safari’s favourite cookery video was of him preparing a spicy tomato pasta dish which involved opening a jar of pasta sauce and tipping it into a saucepan.

And the sausage, egg and bacon sandwich that he debuted live on American breakfast TV has joined the elephants of Kenya in notoriety.

You remember the elephants of Kenya, of course. They featured in Brooklyn's coffee table book of photographs in a blurry snap captioned “elephants in kenya. so hard to photograph, but incredible to see".

Sleb Safari might chance its arm and see if it can get away with a blank page in next week’s newspaper, bar the single sentence “articles. so hard to write, but incredible to read”.

Surprisingly, given everything else he’s had inked on his body, Brooklyn does not have an elephant tattoo. Which proves, conclusively, what Brooklyn was trying to tell us - it’s just too dang difficult to capture the spirit of an elephant in permanent form, ok haters?

I’m A Celebrity returns to Australia

Gwrych Castle in Wales, while beautiful, was very grey

Good news for celebrities who do not like camping in Wales in November, even if they’re being paid to do it, with confirmation that I’m A Celebrity is returning to Australia.

Ant and Dec say that if Australia will have them, this year’s campmates will be back in the jungle.

The two series in Gwrych Castle were great but you can definitely have too much grey on your screen. Sleb Safari is ready for a sunlight-dappled camp with a verdant backdrop.

Bill Bailey's parents did him wrong

Bill Bailey’s parents sound like they were a lot of fun and the family photo albums well worth a leisurely flick.

In a nutshell Bill’s mum had an unusual take on appropriate beach attire.

“When I was small we went on seaside holidays to Minehead in Somerset and Bude in Cornwall, among other places,” he told The Times.

“My dad once showed me a photograph of me, aged three or four, on Woolacombe beach in Devon — I was wearing a shirt and bow tie and just looked preposterous. My mum liked me to look smart.”

And that you did Bill, that you did.
