Estate agency Templeton Robinson is sharing its expertise by way of a bespoke vocational course developed in partnership with the South Eastern Regional College.

With five branches across Northern Ireland, Templeton Robinson have long been acknowledged as experts in their field, and the company was honoured at the Lisburn Campus with a Business Excellence Award for Commitment to Training & Enhancing Student Experience.

One of the latest graduates from the course is Lisburn office valuer and lettings agent Sarah Spence, who won an individual award: the SERC Business Excellence Award for Commitment to Personal Development.

Templeton Robinson’s Lisburn director, Jonathan Steen, said the company was excited about sharing expertise with industry peers.

“Professional accreditation such as this reinforces confidence with both vendors and purchasers at each stage of the process. With increasing activity in the property market, this programme is relevant to professionals across the sector, and we’re proud to have established it in partnership with SERC.”

SERC principal and chief executive Ken Webb added: “We recognise that companies of all types are facing challenges as a result of changing consumer demand and a more knowledge-savvy consumer market. SERC believes that skills development is a central part of any business strategy to ensure it remains competitive in the marketplace. Companies like Templeton Robinson demand bespoke programmes to meet their specific needs and we have the expertise and flexibility to deliver this.”

The bespoke training course is a nationally recognised Level 3 Diploma in the sale of residential property and is ideal for estate agents, property managers and individuals wanting to enter the property management profession but lacking college credentials. The curriculum offers a comprehensive study of property management and is designed to train and educate property management professionals with a sound knowledge and understanding of property management whilst building an understanding of how marketing can help gain a competitive advantage through sales, repeat business and recommendations.
