Renowned for its luxurious interiors and fine craftsmanship, Moira based Beaufort Interiors has catapulted to the forefront of international interior design having launched its first interiors showroom at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in London.

Coinciding with the first day of London Design Week 2016, Beaufort’s showroom opened its doors this month. And the Beaufort Collection, which is positioned within the Simpsons London showroom, has already welcomed thousands of influential interior designers and buyers from across the globe.

The Beaufort Collection includes sofas, armchairs, rugs, fabrics, curtains and cushions, and its new home -  in the heart of London’s design district -  will be the perfect showcase for the quality and luxurious collections from one of Northern Ireland’s finest interior design houses.

In its first unveiling on an international stage, the Beaufort Collection has just been named within the top ten launches at London Design Week, and it was the only soft furnishings manufacturer to be listed, in a week where over 300 major brands launched at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre.

Ruth Wilson, founder of Beaufort Interiors explains: “Since opening Beaufort Interiors over 30 years ago, we have created many bespoke Beaufort designs for both private and commercial customers.

“Over the past few years, we’ve noticed a significant increase in the volume of commissions that we’re undertaking in the UK and therefore it felt like the time was right to create our very own Beaufort Collection that encompasses the very best of Beaufort design.”

The Beaufort collection is the vision of Trevor Wilson, and his mother Ruth, who is the managing director and founder of Beaufort Interiors. Meanwhile, where possible, the majority of the Beaufort Collection will be manufactured from Beaufort’s premises in Moira, Co. Down.

In London, the Beaufort Collection is being presented alongside Simpsons’ Mirrors and Furniture and Alexander-James’ interior accessories.

Trevor Wilson continues: “London Design Week is the epicentre for international design and we felt that there was no better time to unveil the Beaufort Collection. We chose Chelsea Harbour for our showroom as it’s the place for interiors.

“Ruth and I have worked on the Beaufort Collection for the past two years, and since we opened our doors, we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible feedback from our peers. We’re confident that this is just the start of building the Beaufort Collection and are proud that the fine furnishings and products in our collection, designed in Northern Ireland, will now be positioned in homes and buildings across the globe.”

In addition to the collection, Beaufort Interiors is currently working on commissions across the world, including a 7-star standard hotel and a private residence in Saudi Arabia.

Beaufort Interiors’ flagship showroom is located on Main Street, Moira and the company has re-designed its website which customers can check out at
