Luxury living in the heart of Belfast’s Titanic Quarter

Located on Belfast’s waterfront, the ARC (Abercorn Residential Complex) was part of the first phase of development in Titanic Quarter. Now, with all of that phase completed, ARC and the surrounding area have been transformed into one of Belfast’s most vibrant destinations.

With a central Belfast location, enjoying stunning views over the marina at Abercorn Basin, Titanic Belfast, SS Nomadic and the Castlereagh Hills, the ARC has always enjoyed a reputation as one of the most desirable urban locations in Northern Ireland.

The ARC’s 474 Apartment Homes are designed to the highest specifications with generous room sizes, high quality interior finish and fibre connectivity as standard, making it a highly sought after waterfront location for those seeking a modern contemporary urban lifestyle.

Titanic Quarter’s ambition is to create a new urban quarter which encompasses the best of 21st Century design whilst retaining the area’s impressive historical and maritime legacy. Eight years after work started on Phase I and with 1.5 million sq ft completed, ARC sits in the centre of a lively new urban community which represents the modern face of Belfast.

Developments such as Titanic Belfast, the Titanic Film Studios, the Titanic Exhibition Centre, the Northern Ireland Science Park and Belfast Metropolitan College’s Titanic Campus mean that 18,000 people now live, work and study in the area.

If you add in the international pull of Titanic Belfast – which has attracted over two million visitors since opening in 2012 – it’s not hard to understand why Titanic Quarter has established itself as one of Belfast’s most cosmopolitan areas. That vibrancy has also attracted new tenants such as Cast & Crew, a new restaurant run by Niall McKenna (of James Street South fame) to complement existing cafés and restaurants, as well as a hugely popular local convenience store and Green deli (located in ARC’s ground floor).

The area also includes a Premier Inn hotel with plans well advanced for a further four hotels in the Quarter. Work on the first of these, a boutique hotel in the old Harland & Wolff Headquarters Building and the restoration of the Titanic Drawing Offices to their former glory, is due to commence early next year.

Titanic Quarter though is more than just bricks and mortar – the area is a magnet for major outdoor sporting and cultural events such as the BBC’s Proms in the Park, the Giro d’Italia, the TQ 10K, Belfast’s Colour Run, MTV music awards, special stages of the Circuit of Ireland and many more.

With plans to ultimately create a new urban village with homes and employment for 50,000 people, the ARC will continue to be at the heart of one of Belfast’s most exciting quarters.
