MUSCULAR ELEGANCE: Audi's classy new A5 might have only just landed with us, but you can always count on the company to wheel out yet another variant.
So, right on cue, here is the high performance RS5 version. Its tech-rich specification includes an all-new 2.9-litre V6 twin-turbo engine which makes 444bhp and a hefty 443lb.ft of torque and, of course, the latest quattro four-wheel-drive system.
The 0-62mph sprint is brushed aside in just 3.9 seconds - that's half a second faster than the old RS5 - and the standard, limited top speed of 155mph can be increased to 174mph.
Options include a carbon fibre roof, fully milled wheels, a sports exhaust and a full suite of driver assistance, safety and connectivity systems.
You can order yours from May, with deliveries due in the summer.
