Could separate duvets with different togs help your relationship?

TIRED of sharing the bed with a duvet hogger? Or does your sleeping companion complain that your body heat would melt the polar caps?

Research suggests that most of us aren't getting enough sleep with four in 10 people surveyed complaining that they are either too hot or too cold at night while one third said a fidgeting partner kept them awake.

According to the survey, Armagh residents’ sleep is the most affected by temperature (79%), while in Derry over half said sharing a bed kept them awake (55%).

Half of the women questioned said they've moved to the sofa to try and get some sleep, compared to a third of men.

In Sweden it is commonplace to see a double bed with two single duvets. Better yet, the duvets can have different weight and warmth so both people get a good night's sleep.

To that end IKEA Belfast will this weekend start stocking the TOG-ether bundle of two single duvets with a tog rating of 7.5 or 12 based on your own preference. The bundle costs £40 rather than £50 on January 27 and 28.

Might this be what your sleep deprived self is crying out for???
