Map: The booziest countries in the world revealed
AROUND 13 million pints of Guinness are expected to be drank this St Patrick's Day and this handy map shows you where those pints are likely to be downed.
Using World Health Organisation data from 2010 to 2015 Vouchercloud, an online discount code provider, created a map showing which countries consume the most alcohol.
Moldovans consume 17.4 litres of pure alcohol per year, per person which is the equivalent to 178 bottles of wine, followed by the people of Belarus and Lithuania who consume 17.1 litres of pure alcohol.
Ireland comes in at 28th (10.9 litres of pure alcohol) and the UK at 17th (12 litres) while the US is placed 49th in the booziest countries barometer.
