A well known Belfast bar is getting ready to turn up the heat this bank holiday weekend when it hosts its first Chilli Festival.
The Cloth Ear is set to put on a range of eye watering dishes and cocktails for those who like it hot.
For those willing to take up the challenge a blistering Chilli Chicken Wing Roulette platter will test the palette of even the most adventurous.
A special challenge will see volunteers being dared to eat 10 spice filled wings made with the hottest pepper in the world - the Carolina Reaper - in under four minutes.
The festival will take place at the Cloth Ear on Waring Street on Saturday and Sunday.
