A little bit of autumn is coming to Belfast tomorrow thanks to the National Trust.

Belfast City Hall will host the conservation charity's unique 'Leaf Pod', a container filled with leaves from National Trust locations across the north.

"Our pod will be filled with colourful, crispy leaves gathered up from across the country and we want people of all ages to step inside and have some fun,’ says National Trust ranger Rowan Patterson.

‘Catch a falling leaf’ is one of our ‘50 things to do before you’re 11¾’ and we want to encourage adults and children alike to play with the leaves, take a picture and capture some happy memories on Saturday," He added.

National Trust rangers will be at the dome using fun, hands-on demonstrations to highlight the importance of nature and the role that the National Trust plays in protecting Northern Ireland’s special places. There will also be fun colouring in for the children and a special membership offer for anyone who wants to sign up on-site to support the conservation charity.

Cool FM will also be broadcasting live from the Leaf Pod, with chances to win prizes on Saturday

The Leaf Pod will be at City Hall from 11am to 3pm.

You have to see it to be-leaf it!
