- VODAFONE customers can get a free three-month trial of Spotify Premium via the network’s VeryMe app. The offer is valid until 11.59pm on March 31 2022 so there’s plenty of time to avail of it. It’s open only to new users of the music streaming service. You must provide payment details because unless you cancel before the three months are up, you will be billed automatically at £9.99 for every month thereafter (a standard feature of such trials).

- Lidl stores in Northern Ireland are offering six bottles of wine for £20 until Wednesday December 23. It's a mix-and-match deal. See www.lidl-ni.co.uk and browse in store for the full range.

- Buy two items from a special selection at www.levi.com and get a third free. The items on offer are at https://tinyurl.com/yalcr7fs. No end date was specified. New customers who sign up to the newsletter get 10 per cent off and free delivery. A highlight is the Ruby Red gift set, comprising a knit-blend beanie and matching gloves for £40.

- Get 20 per cent off full-price items at www.reebok.co.uk with the code RBK20. No end date has been specified.

- Get 20 per cent off full price items at www.sportsdirect.com with the code GIFT20. It expires at 11.59pm on Wednesday December 23 and can also be used on the Sports Direct app.

- Boohoo has a sale with up to 80 per cent off but go via www.vouchercodes.co.uk for an exclusive extra 20 per cent off dresses and shoes. The code will be valid until 11.59pm on Sunday December 20.

- VoucherCodes also has an exclusive 25 per cent discount code for orders over £30 at Hotter Shoes. It's valid until 11.59pm on Sunday December 20 at www.vouchercodes.co.uk.

- Need some TV viewing to take your mind off the doom and gloom?
