WE are all missing nights out at the pub and meeting up with friends, but while we are waiting for things to change, why not try mixing things up with a cocktail in the comfort of your own home? You can whip up a fruity favourite following these easy recipes from Lidl. Here’s the ingredients and the methods you will need to make the two drinks:

Strawberry Frosé (serves 2)

Lidl’s Californian Zinfandel Rosé (£4.48)

Strawberries, 1 lemon, 2 tbsp caster sugar,

mint leaves to serve.Blend the rosé with the strawberries, lemon juice and sugar. Place on to a tray and then into the freezer. Allow to freeze for at least three hours, or overnight. Once frozen, blend again, serve in glasses and top with mint leaves.

Peach, Passionfruit & Mint Mojito (serves 2)

70ml Liberté White Rum (£10.99); 100ml soda water; 2 peaches; 2 passionfruit;

1 lime; 2 tbsp caster sugar; 3 sprigs of mint; large handful of ice.

Slice the peaches into segments, holding back four to garnish. Add the rest to a blender with the sugar and juice of half the lime. Blitz until smooth. Dice the remaining half lime and add to the base of the glasses along with three small mint leaves per glass. Use a muddler to gently crush these. Place the ice in a clean tea towel, wrap to enclose the ice and bash. Fill the glasses halfway with the crushed ice. Add the blender contents to the glasses along with the rum and the flesh of half a passionfruit in each, then stir. Top each glass with soda and add a little extra crushed ice if needed. Garnish by slicing the remaining passionfruit halves, peach slices and mint sprigs.
