NATIONAL Museums NI is getting ready to celebrate Halloween with a spooky season of festivities taking place at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum from October 25-3 , and the Ulster American Folk Park from October 29-31.
Not for the faint hearted, events include spine chilling tours of the ‘Dark Side of Ballycultra’ (October 25-27) at the Folk Museum or the popular Halloween Torchlight Tours (October 29-31 ) at the Ulster American Folk Park. Visitors will hear a series of spooky tales on their journey around the lamplit streets, and dark wooded lanes of the museums, and possibly bump into a creepy character or two.
The Ulster Folk & Transport Museum will be hosting its annual Halloween Family Festival on October 31, filled with fun and games for children of all ages throughout the day. There will be prizes for the most creative fancy-dress costume as well as chances to meet the owls, creepy crawlies and snakes.
