City Airport upgrade

completes in October

Increased passenger choice and comfort at George Best Belfast City Airport will be available by this October when a £15 million upgrade is completed. With a larger and improved departure lounge, there will be increased retail space, with an expanded offering from World Duty Free and WH Smith. Food and beverage facilities will also be expanded. Customer seating will be more than doubled at the airport, which has just been purchased by French infrastructure giant Vinci, as will air-side customer washroom facilities, which will also be fully refurbished and extended.
