ANTRIM

The Rock’N’Roll Years and Dance Hall Days Show is back with a brand new show featuring George Jones, Clubsound and four wonderful singers. The show will transport you back to the music and artistes of 50s and 60s. Shows at the Theatre at the Mill on Thursday January 18 and the Old Courthouse, Antrim, on Friday January 19.

ARMAGH

Singer-songwriter Janet Dowd returns to The Market Place this Friday following the success of her latest release Home. All three of her albums to date have taken the number one spot in Irish Music Magazine’s Top 10 Folk Albums. Janet will be joined by her band for an evening of folk ballads and foot stomping tunes.

BELFAST

Join the Stormont Hotel this Saturday for a great night of tribute songs from JP Mac performing songs from Johnny Cash and June Carter. Doors open from 7.30pm and show begins at 9pm. Tickets available at the hotel reception desk or from Ticketmaster.

DERRY

Comic Jake O’Kane, star of the BBC panel show The Blame Game, is back with a brand new show entitled Still Sittin on the Fence. Join Jake this Friday at the Millennium Forum. In his traditional end-of-year review show, Jake will be casting a satirical eye over the preceding 12 months, combining stories and pictures from The Irish News with the madness of the internet to debunk the great, the not so great, and himself.

DOWN

There will be races for everyone at Kirkistown Race Track on Sunday: 11am, Duathlons (full laps of track) 1.5 – 7.5 – 1.5 miles or 3 – 15 – 3 miles; 2pm – Runs 5K and 10K pan flat and officially measured. Duathlon relay teams welcome. Duathlon £20, Run £10.

FERMANAGH

Join Geopark staff this Saturday on a tour of Marble Arch Caves Unesco Global Geopark sites to learn more about the biodiversity and archaeology of the area and the intrinsic links to the landscape and the underlying geology of the Geopark. Admission free but booking essential.

TYRONE
