FASHION: Right way to wear white during summer months
Your guide to styling the pale shade this summer
HEAD-TO-TOE white looks great on Wimbledon Centre Court – players and spectators alike – but there's no reason this crisp hue should be confined to tennis tournaments, garden parties and holidays.
Especially this summer, because the shops are full of gorgeous pale pieces that will cure you of your aversion to white, and have you embracing it as your new daywear favourite.
Here are three chic ways to wear white now...
1. White trousers
White skinny jeans, in case you weren't aware, have had their day. It's all about breezy, wide-leg trousers or kick-flare jeans now, paired with a loose prairie top and block-heeled mules.

Jigsaw Hoxton Cropped Flare Jeans, £62 (reduced from £89)
2. White dresses
Lace and fussy florals are best left for special occasions. Keep it simple with a crisp shirt dress or slouchy T-shirt dress. What to wear with white? You can't go wrong with metallics (try a rose gold two-part heel) or black (pool sliders are the perfect partner for a minimalist tee dress).

3. White skirts
White miniskirts are just a bit TOO tennis player-esque, but a midi skirt? Now that's a winning summer look. Tuck a slim fit tee into a high-waisted skirt for a fresh, youthful feel, or go boho with a loose linen top and strappy sandals.
