IF YOU are looking for something to do today with the family, head up to the Antrim Live Festival where there's all sorts of things to do. Among the outdoor events is an adventure called Operation Wolfhound, which organisers describe as an interactive game, part treasure hunt and part performance, led by performers, traders and volunteers and using multiple locations across Antrim town.

The experience has been inspired by some of Antrim’s best known stories and legends including the Massereene Wolfhound and the ghost of the White Lady and participants should be prepared to encounter "a vast array of challenges" which will test their team and their skills to the limit.

Booking is in advance, in groups of between four and eight. The experience lasts about one hour. Part happens outdoors so bring appropriate footwear and clothing. Time slots from 10am to 4pm. Starting point is at The Old Courthouse. Tickets from £3.

Recommended age is eight and over.

PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE MOURNES

THE NI Walking Photography Group, run by keen snapper David Doyle, will be taking in the sights on a seven mile walk in the Mourne Mountains tomorrow. The route from Bloody Bridge to Chimney Rock, he says, offers amazing views over the Mournes, particularly nearby Slieve Donard and across the Annalong Valley to Slieve Beg, Cove, Lamagan and Slieve Binnian.

This moderate walk is suitable for people with average fitness and some hillwalking experience. The terrain is grass, stone and boggy in places so anyone wishing to go should wear proper walking boots and bring warm, waterproof gear. Bring plenty to drink and a packed lunch. A flask containing a hot drink is recommended.

The group meets at Bloody Bridge Car Park at 10.30am. See the Facebook page for NI Walking Photography Group or contact David on 07871 058 258.
