DOWN

The Downpatrick & Co Down Railway Easter Eggspress is running from 2pm-5pm on Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, March 26, 27 and 28. Tickets purchased on the day from the station ticket office. Enjoy a steam train trip through the Co Down countryside and look around our museum and collection of old railway carriages and artefacts. Kids get an Easter Egg from the Easter bunny, and there are plenty of activities to pass a few hours in the afternoon.

ARMAGH

‘Old MacDonald had a farm…’ Enjoy Navan Fort’s whacky interpretation of this ever-popular Nursery Rhyme this Easter. Start with some face-painting or mask making so you can be part of the farm – there’s a real choice of animals to be! Join the gang on an adventure to get to Grandpa’s Farm, but will you get there before the animals take over? This interactive family sing-along will feature favourite children's songs. Go on the Easter Trail where you will have lots of fun and get a treat at the end.

FERMANAGH

Roll up Roll up, or down as the case may be for the Share Discovery Village Eggstreme Easter activities and Cruise Trip. Hunt for the Easter clues using our maps and win a chocolate prize. Then cruise aboard our bunny boat with balloon modelling, face painting, games and prizes. Free tea and coffee for adults.

TYRONE

See Derek Ryan perform live on Thursday at the Strule Arts Centre. Derek has recently celebrated his fourth year on the road and has a huge following in Ireland and Britain and recently toured Australia – which was a huge success. He’s currently performing material from his new album One Good Night – and this is one night you don't want to miss.

DERRY

There's fun for all the family following the trail around the historic Downhill Demesne and Hezlett House at the National Trust Easter Egg Hunts this weekend. Hunt for clues to crack the code and unlock the Cadbury's chocolate surprise in our Easter Egg Hunt. March 27 and 28 March, Downhill Demesne; March 29, Hezlett House. Egg Hunt £1 per child.

ANTRIM

Offering three packed days of nourishment for the mind, body and soul, the three-day Food for the Soul festival at the Eikon Centre, Lisburn, is like nothing you've seen before in holistic health and wellbeing. For more information and tickets, visit foodforthesoul.org.uk.

BELFAST

This Easter, QFT are happy to present to you and your little ones an eggcellent selection of children’s film classics. So, if your chocolate isn’t sweet enough how about a spoonful of sugar with Mary Poppins or an everlasting gobstopper with Willy Wonka? There are plenty of treats for children and adults alike.
