:: DUST and dirt on your digital SLR's sensor can ruin your pictures. Photographic shop Calumet on Boucher Road, Belfast, offers cleaning for free (although a small donation to charity is requested) on its open days and the next one is November 5. Between 10am and 4pm you can have the service provided for next to nothing while you wait -– and don't expect it to happen in a flash. The offer is always very popular because the usual cost is at least £36 with a £15 surcharge for same-day return. Make sure your camera is fully charged before you hand it over. Free cleaning is available for Canon and Nikon models only and the offer is limited to one per person. For more details go to www.calphoto.co.uk.

:: Quick tip for anyone who doesn't know (because it isn't exactly advertised) – buy any coffee in Starbucks and you get free refills of filter coffee. Ask at the counter if you want to make sure.

:: Until November 8 you can pick up two Disney DVDs for £12.99 (or Blu-rays for £14.99) at www.amazon.co.uk. The offer applies to items bought directly from Amazon and not third-party Marketplace sellers. Highlights include Bambi, Frozen and Big Hero 6.

:: I'd rarely recommend buying another publication but this month's Good Housekeeping magazine contains a voucher for £15 off when you spend £30 at Molton Brown shops. It also includes an equivalent code for www.moltonbrown.co.uk. The voucher can't be used at department-store concessions. The magazine is on sale until October 30 and the voucher is valid until 11.59pm the following day. Check you have the correct edition by looking for the voucher on P164. Even factoring in the cover price (£4.10, or £2.99 if you find it on special offer at Sainsbury's), it's a big saving.

:: Thinking about redeeming your Tesco Clubcard points? Wait until November 2, when the pre-Christmas boost scheme takes effect, doubling their value in selected departments. Full details will be announced on the day.
