- BIGGER, brighter phone screens, more battery-draining apps and our increasing inability to set our handsets aside for two minutes mean that it can be tough to stay fully charged but EE has a nifty solution for its customers. For the price of a text message (35p in this case), you can request a code that entitles you to collect a free Power Bar from an EE store. The little gadget recharges your phone on the move. When it has done its job, you can recharge it via a USB connection or just call in at any EE store and swap it for a fully charged one - as many times as you like. Everyone likes a free refill. Read the full terms and conditions at http://ee.co.uk. An important one to note is that if you lose the Power Bar, if it gets stolen or if you leave EE and fail to return it, you will be charged £5.
