What's Hot!

Cycle on - After the huge success of the Giro d’Italia last year, the cycling legacy lives on with the Gran Fondo on Sunday. The event will see amateur cyclists from across the world tackle some of the most iconic climbs in Northern Ireland. For further information on the routes and road closures, please visit www.granfondogiroditaliani.com

Store Wars - Staff from Ulster Bank Private Banking have teamed up with Marie Curie and will be working in two stores in Belfast today. Two teams will compete against each other to generate the greatest increase in shop revenue that day. Join them in the Marie Curie stores on the Stranmillis Road or Lisburn Road where there will be plenty of prizes and surprises.

What's Not!

X Factor line-up - I'm not impressed with BBC Radio One presenter Nick Grimshaw joining the judging panel for the next series of the ITV singing competition. The contestants might not be too happy either after he revealed he plans to take them to Oldham when the show reaches the judges' houses stage.

Gigs cancelled - Rock group Foo Fighters have been forced to cancel their headline slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival after frontman Dave Grohl fell off stage at a concert in Sweden, fracturing his leg. Gigs in Belgium, Edinburgh and London's Wembley Stadium have also been called off.

Competition winners:

The winners of last week's competition to win a copy of The Silent Hours are Sheila McGibbon from Belfast, Sally McCaughley from Armagh, Maureen Garvey from Armagh, Kevin McBride from Belfast and M Daly from Dungannon.
