A Motability first for Charles Hurst Peugeot

The Motability Scheme, which enables those with higher rate disability living allowance to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair using a government-funded allowance, has launched a new award to recognise the top Motability consultants in Northern Ireland.

The first winner of this prestigious award is Jennifer Farmer of Charles Hurst Peugeot in Belfast. The quarterly award not only looks at the volume of sales but also considers the overall service, and Jennifer was a clear winner from the outset.

Ian McAllister, general manager at Charles Hurst Peugeot, commented: "It is great that Motability have decided to recognise their top performers and we all share Jennifer's delight in winning the first ever award. The choice is huge for Motability customers and Jennifer has been consistent in her customer dealings and thoroughly deserves the recognition. The award judges Motability specialists on their attention to detail with the associated documents and processes but also the number of cars supplied by our Peugeot dealership. The challenge for Charles Hurst now is to keep at the top and make sure that all Motability customers drive away in their new Peugeot completely satisfied."

Jennifer has been Motability Specialist at the Boucher Road dealership for 11 years and is thrilled to have won. She said: "I am delighted to have been given this award. I love my job and think that the Motability scheme benefits so many people across the country offering much needed independence."

The Motability scheme is available to all recipients of higher rate DLA and offers a new Peugeot car over a three year period, including insurance and maintenance.
