North has once again missed economic boat

Hardly anyone has studied the economic effects of the IRA campaign in the north.
Occasionally a figure has been given for the financial cost of a particular explosion. For example the 1992 Bishopsgate bomb damaged 325,000 square metres of office space and required the British government to pay out £800 million in claims.
