IRELAND'S first Omega showroom has opened in Belfast

The two-storey unit, in partnership with Lunn’s the Jewellers, opened in Queen’s Arcade and will be dedicated to the upmarket watch brand.

The first floor of the unit contains an Omega VIP area "offering an intimate environment for clients and guests”, while the ground floor will allow shoppers to browse the latest collections from Omega including its Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation and De Ville products.

Omega watches retail from £2,000 to over £60,000 and have had prestigious associations with the Olympic Games, James Bond and famous space and ocean conquests.

Its new store in Queen’s Arcade is making the shopping centre something of a watch retail destination.

Omega's launch follows on from the opening of a Cartier watch boutique, Swiss watchmaker Breitling’s first ever Irish store and a Gucci watch and jewellery store there.

John Lunn, Lunn’s managing director said: “We have worked with our partners from Omega for over 40 years. The popularity and demand for the brand across Ireland is very clear and we are thrilled to open a dedicated showroom to really bring to life the true Omega red carpet experience."

Andrea Nunziata, brand director at Omega UK, said the store will allow Omega wearers the chance to view the brands entire collection.

He said: “Omega has enjoyed a very successful partnership with Lunn’s for the past 40 years, and we are excited to step up to the next level with a beautiful new showroom.”

Queen’s Arcade is Belfast’s last remaining Victorian shopping arcade. It received a multi-million-pound investment in 2019 beckoning designer residents.
