JEWELLERY chain Pandora is to reopen in Belfast city centre.

The store originally relocated to Cornmarket in July 2016 and operated as a franchise run by Argento founder Pete Boyle.

Pandora said the new outlet would be wholly owned and operated by the company.

Following a refit, the unit will reopen to the public on Thursday (June 16).

In 2019, the Danish retail chain bought 26 UK stores from Mr Boyle's company.

Pandora said it plans to continue expanding its owned and operated network in Northern Ireland throughout the remainder of the year.

Ross Monaghan, sales director for Pandora UK & Ireland said: “We couldn’t be more excited to see Pandora expanding in the Northern Ireland region and I’d like to pass on my thanks to all of our various teams for bringing this fantastic store to life.

“We can’t wait to welcome in all of our wonderful customers and create a long lasting experience for them.”
