BELFAST-based medtech firm TriMedika has moved into new premises at Whiterock business park in the west of the city as it plans for further business growth.

The expansion of the company, which is behind an innovative contactless thermometer, follows multiple export deals across international markets.

The firm's chief financial officer Paul Molloy said: “Our business has scaled quickly and we’re enjoying significant success with our digital non-contact TriTemp thermometer in global markets including Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Nordics, South Africa and the US, where Invest NI has helped support visits and key trade exhibitions.

“Our new office represents a significant step in our business journey, allowing us to accommodate future growth.

“It will provide space to expand our team and product range, and increase our efficiencies as we scale the business and grow our global footprint further.”

Invest NI has been working in partnership with TriMedika since 2015 to grow its business through R&D and trade support, and the agency helped the company to secure 2,500 sq ft of office space at Whiterock business park, which is part of its portfolio of commercial properties available for rent.
