TITANIC Belfast has launched its seasonal recruitment drive with a mixture of 65 roles available in the lead up to its peak summer period.

The popular attraction, which will soon mark its tenth anniversary in Belfast, had established itself as the north’s second most popular destination for tourists before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Some 823,000 visitors were recorded in 2019 by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (Nisra), placing it just behind the Giant’s Causeway on 998,000.

Around 150 seasonal staff were recruited for the peak 2019 season.

Titanic Belfast is now continuing its recovery with a drive for 65 people this summer, as it looks to regain the substantial ground lost across the sector in 2020.

Heather Graham, who heads the organisation’s HR department said the 'staycation' boom of 2021 had played a significant part in that recovery.

"We are confident that this will also be the case this year and as we rebuild international travel to the city we are looking forward to a busy few months ahead," she said.

"To support this, we are delighted to launch a recruitment drive for 65 new roles to help us ensure we provide the first-class service and experience that visitors to Titanic Belfast know to expect."
