BELFAST software company Pinnacle, a market leader in providing Sage business management software, has completed the acquisition of K3 Business Technology Group’s Sage business K3 FDS.

K3, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, provides mission-critical software and cloud solutions.

Pinnacle has a presence throughout the UK and Ireland with offices in Belfast, Birmingham, Dublin, Maidstone, Newcastle, and Glasgow, and has a staff of over 170 people providing consultancy, training, support, and proactive account management to a customer base of more than 1,800 businesses.

James Spencer, managing director of Pinnacle, said: “The Sage business will transition very smoothly into our operations, benefitting from our scale and depth focus.

“We're excited for both the team and customers to join Pinnacle to bolster our operations and delivery within the Sage markets.”

Pinnacle's chairman and founder Ken Montgomery added: “This latest acquisition consolidates our position as a leading provider of ERP software and services in the UK and Ireland.

“We are also pleased to add a significant number of highly skilled and experienced personnel to our team to further enhance the level of service to a large number of Pinnacle customers.”

Earlier this year Pinnacle acquired the Sage and IT Services business of TMS Scotland near Falkirk, strengthening its operations in Scotland.
