CO Down cloud-based technology company 3EN has reported a hike in sales approaching 60 per cent in the first half of 2021.

The Holywood tech firm, which also operates in London and Bonn, turned over £1.5 million in 2020. The company said it’ll eclipse that performance following contracts with glamping innovator Further Space as well as Charlotte Tilbury, Buitelaar, and Optoma Europe.

The growth has resulted in 12 new staff in the last six months, taking the fast-growing tech firm’s workforce to 44.

Dale Cree, chief executive of 3EN, said the Co Down firm recently signed up with the UK Home Office to sponsor new employees from outside the UK, helping attract new recruits to Northern Ireland from Singapore and India.

“It’s been a great start to the year for us and we’re excited to welcome our new staff and clients to 3EN,” he said.

The growth of our company is a huge testament to the 3EN team, who have gone above and beyond over the last 18 months to help push us in a positive direction.

“When the pandemic struck, they adapted seamlessly to mass remote working, despite challenging conditions for many of them.

“Our performance in that time is down to them and their efforts have positioned the company well for continued growth throughout the rest of 2021 and beyond.”
