HOLIDAY accommodation provider Further.Space is to collaborate with Holywood-based cloud solutions company 3EN to help increase business productivity and manage new accommodation sites as lockdown restrictions lift and in anticipation of a busy summer of staycations.

Further.Space says it plans to deploy more than 500 pod units in its first five years and further increase its portfolio of glamping sites across the UK and Ireland, which currently stands at 10.

3EN, which has operations across Europe and the US, uses its cloud technology to help businesses drive growth through improving efficiency.

The contract with 3EN will allow Further.Space not only to grow, but to manage and scale all elements of its business, increasing productivity and improving delivery and communication with customers and partners.

Dale Cree, chief executive of 3EN, said: “With the easing of lockdown, companies like Further.Space are preparing for a surge in business into summer months.

“We're delighted to be able to help them move operations to the next level through our cloud technology and look forward to increasing Further.Space’s efficiency across the business and watching the company grow and prosper.”

Peter Farquharson, chief executive of Further Space, added: “After the easing of the first lockdown we noticed a huge increase in holiday makers looking closer to home for their summer getaways and we expect this year to be no different.

“By July we hope to have 50 pods across our 10 sites, and by 2022 to have even more new locations up and running.

“Working with 3EN will allow us to improve our processes both internally and externally which we hope will lead to the further expansion of our business.”
