PINNACLE Growth Group has appointed Alastair Hamilton CBE as its chair - his first major board position since stepping down in 2019 as chief executive of economic support body Invest NI.
In 10 years in that role, he played a key role in the strategic development of the north’s economy, encouraging major foreign direct investment together with overseeing the expansion of hundreds of local companies.
Pinnacle provides full service consultation, training and support services for businesses across Britain and Ireland.
Alastair said: “I admire the dedication and determination of local business leaders and am passionate about the progression of home-grown businesses, so when presented with this opportunity with such an impressive and forward thinking company, I was eager to take up the role.
“I'm looking forward to working with Robert, Scott and the Pinnacle team to contribute to the development of the group and providing advice on their ambitious strategic plans.”
