HAGAN Homes has started construction on its £4.75m Ballyoran Heights development at Old Mill Grove, off the Upper Newtownards Road in Dundonald.

The construction of the 14 three- and four-bedroom semi detached, and detached homes (priced from £190,000 to £295,000) and six two-bedroom apartments (starting at £140,000) will continue until summer 2021 and create around 50 jobs.

The Ballyoran Heights project has an intense works schedule, with the first handover due to take place this October.

Jim Burke, director of sales and acquisitions at Ballyclare-based Hagan Homes, said: “Ballyoran Heights offers its residents comfortable, modern living in an unparalleled location, close to Stormont Estate, Knock Golf Club and the Comber Greenway.”

He added: “The development includes 20 homes which will be perfect for young professionals wishing to get on the property ladder, individuals who may wish to downsize, or growing families hoping to settle down in an accessible area with a tight-knit community feel.

Main contractor for the Ballyoran Heights is DB Building Contracts.

Special purchase schemes such as NI Co-Ownership will be available for homes under £165,000

Hagan Homes has built more than 4,000 houses across Northern Ireland since it was established 30 years ago and plans to build 2000 more new units the next decade as part of an ambitious £300 million development programme which will create and sustain hundreds of construction jobs.
