Lifestyle brand Joules added to retail mix at The Boulevard

LIFESTYLE brand Joules, renowned for its high-quality clothing and interiors collections, has become the first retailer signing of the year at The Boulevard in Banbridge.

It will open a 2,100 sq ft unit later this year - the ninth new retailer to set its sights on the designer outlet in the last 12 months - and will create 12 jobs initially.

Joules joins the likes of Levi’s, Crew Clothing and Jack and Jones Junior, all recent additions to The Boulevard as well as the scheme’s long-established brands such as Nike, Adidas, Hugo Boss, Jack Wills, Timberland and Gap.

The retailer's founder and chief brand officer Tom Joule said: “We look forward to bringing our unique personality and style to shoppers later this year.”

The centre's retail director Chris Nelmes added: “Joules is a fantastic addition to our portfolio as womenswear is one of our consistently strong categories.

“We’ve just come out of our strongest Christmas trading period ever with footfall up by 4 per cent on the year while spend per head is up 5 per cent.”
