Double delight for Titanic Hotel after latest award win
THE Titanic Hotel has been named 'Northern Ireland's Leading Hotel' for a second successive year at an prestigious international awards
The World Travel Awards 2019, held at the weekend in Portugal, recognised the 119-bedroom Belfast hotel yet again as the north's best. The accolade comes despite the fact the venue has only been open since September 2017.
The World Travel Awards are recognised as the travel industry's most prestigious awards programme and have been running since 1993.
Titanic Hotel Belfast general manager, Adrian McNally described the latest win as "exceptionally special".
“Being named ‘Northern Ireland's Leading Hotel' for the second year in a row underpins our belief that the experience offered to our visitors at Titanic Hotel Belfast, from the moment they arrive at the front door, is of the highest possible standard," he said.
"With last week's announcement by Tourism Northern Ireland that millions more are visiting Northern Ireland and spending more money here than ever before, and with an unprecedented summer ahead for Northern Ireland's hotel industry with The 148th Open Championship just around the corner, we look forward to welcoming local visitors and those visiting Titanic Hotel Belfast from around the world to experience a taste of the world class accommodation, hospitality and service that Titanic Hotel Belfast has once again been globally recognised for.”
Other Northern Ireland winners at the awards were the Hilton Belfast, named Leading Business Hotel and Dream Apartments, ranked as the top serviced apartments provider.
The Titanic Hotel is located in the former headquarters of Harland & Wolff, which built famous oceanliners, including the RMS Titanic.
