A GROWING Co Armagh-based health provider has announced a new expansion into Derry, creating 50 jobs.
Ann's Nursing Care, which offers temporary staffing solutions to the healthcare sector, has confirmed it will move into the area as a result of recent growth and new contract wins.
The expansion will provide scope for up to 50 potential job opportunities across all areas of healthcare provision and will add to the company's workforce in the north of 190 staff, 100 of which have been employed in the past year.
New roles on offer include; registered nurses, care assistants, support workers as well as catering and hospitality staff.
Ann's Nursing Care manager, Michael McQuade expects further job opportunities beyond the initial 50 to be created in the local area in the future.
“We are delighted to announce the company's rapid growth and creation of employment for the local area in Derry. The number of jobs for the area is expected to increase as our client portfolio steadily grows in the area," he said.
Ann's Nursing Care boosts its own in-house training team, which delivers an induction programme for all new employees, allowing them to deliver high-quality care in their role.

As part of its recruitment drive, Ann’s Nursing Care will host an open day on Thursday May 2 at the Waterfoot Hotel between 11am and 3pm. On the day prospective candidates will be able to learn about the roles available and participate in interviews for the available positions.
Founded in February 2017, Ann's Nursing Care, based in Portadown, provides staffing solutions to the healthcare sector across Northern Ireland.
Sister company, Ann's Home Care, established in 1994 by Ann and Pat McQuade, provides care for patients across the Southern Trust, who wish to live in their own home.
