A COLERAINE-based software firm is to create 10 jobs and open a new office as it targets further growth in the north.

DotSys Ltd, which provides financial software solutions to the financial services industry, has launched a recruitment campaign for IT specialists to work at its Coleraine base and new Belfast office, due to open later this year.

The company, which has 14 staff at present, intends to grow by 45 per cent in the next year and is looking for software developers from graduate level right through to those who are highly experienced for a variety of positions.

DotSys Ltd is part of the MCL InsureTech group, which earlier this year, announced it is to create 50 new jobs as part of major expansion plans in the north.

MCL InsureTech chief executive, Gary McClarty said the expansion is a response to ongoing growth.

"With expertise built up over 30 years, we have been able to develop and innovate cloud-based technologies, enabling our customers to handle large volumes of business in the most cost effective and profitable way. With the recent expansion of IT and the development of new web-based applications, our business is growing," he said.

"Currently, DotSys Ltd delivers its services from an office in Coleraine. However, due to the company's success, DotSys will be opening a new office in Belfast in the coming months, so we are recruiting staff for both locations."

The deadline for applications in April 30 and for more information visit www.dotsys.co.uk/careers.

Over the last decade MCL InsureTech has become one of Ireland’s leading online insurance companies. The company’s flagship brands are: www.its4women.ie, www.25plus.ie and www.boxymo.ie. The group also operates a media buying business B Connected Media.
