A BUSY Co Antrim service station has undergone a £1 million refurbishment, which has created eight new jobs.

Maxol has just completed the substantial investment at its Glenabbey Service Station in Glengormley, located close to Sandyknowes roundabout.

The revamp has significantly increased the size of the convenience store to over 3,000 sq ft, while a new hot food counter and Morelli's Ice Cream bar have been installed.

The toilet and wash room facilities have also been fully upgraded and the car park has been extended from 16 to 28 spaces to improve access and convenience for customers.

"We look forward to welcoming both existing and new customers in store to enjoy everything the newly expanded store has to offer.”
