Men's fashion chain Suit Direct opens first store in the north in Banbridge

MEN's formalwear chain Suit Direct has opened its first store on the island of Ireland in Banbridge, creating five jobs.

Suit Direct, which operates 27 outlets across the UK, set up at The Boulevard earlier this month and joins over 50 brands currently on site, including

Jack Wills, Kurt Geiger, Guess, Skechers and Adidas.

Suit Direct is the second new store to open at the Banbridge shopping centre this year after London-based handbag and accessories brand, Radley.

The retailer, famed for its Scottie dog logo, opened at The Boulevard earlier this month, creating eight jobs.

Chris Nelmes, centre manager at The Boulevard welcomed the latest retailer to Banbridge.

“The Boulevard is continuing to grow from strength-to-strength, and we are delighted that popular retailer Suit Direct has chosen our centre as its opening location in the island of Ireland," he said.

“The new store will be a great addition for shoppers, particularly in the run up to the busy summer wedding and formal season. Our aim is to continue to provide a top-class shopping experience and we will continue to grow and invest in the centre through to the new year.”

Suit Direct specialises in men’s suits, jackets, shirts, coats and accessories with at least 30 per cent off and stocks leading brands such as Limehaus, Scott & Taylor, Ben Sherman, Jeff Banks and Racing Green.
