YOUNG Enterprise is launching an exclusive competition to enable six Young Enterprise Northern Ireland (YENI) alumni to travel and stay in New York for a week this June to experience the US culture of entrepreneurship.

The initiative will include local and international visits to start-up and incubator spaces as well as providing exciting opportunities to connect young people to an established network of entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland and New York.

Young Enterprise chief executive Carol Fitzsimons MBE said: "With support of our funders US Embassy and Friends of Young Enterprise NI Foundation, we are giving ambitious talented young people 18 to 25-year-olds, who have their own business or planning to set one up in the future, the chance of a lifetime.

"It's their opportunity to widen their ambitions to a global stage and continue to nurture their passion for entrepreneurship ignited by their own Young Enterprise experience."
