Irish tech firm to create 20 local jobs after acquisition of Lisburn-based P2V Systems

A LISBURN-based IT solutions provider has been acquired by a leading Irish tech firm, creating 20 local jobs.

P2V Systems, an award-winning Microsoft Cloud Services company has been purchased by data, AI, software and IT services provider, ActionPoint for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see the creation of 20 new jobs in Lisburn over the next two years, with the increased headcount focusing on IT and sales.

P2V Systems CEO, Stephen McCann said the new partnership will provide added value to customers and partners.

"As an established and award-winning Microsoft Solutions provider in Northern Ireland, we are strengthened by this acquisition and look forward to expanding our portfolio of existing services to include custom software development, IoT and AI to best service our customers in Northern Ireland.”

ActionPoint, which has offices in Limerick, Dublin, Cork and Galway will now have a combined turnover of £18 million and an expected headcount of more than 100 people at the end of its financial year.

As a result of the acquisition Stephen McCann, who founded P2V in 2008, has been appointed chief technology officer and will continue to drive the ActionPoint business across the UK market.
