TWO Belfast estate agents have joined together to sell a new £17 million city centre apartment complex.

Colliers International and Simon Brien will team up to sell the the third phase of Portland 88 on the Ormeau Road.

Over £6m worth of the development has been sold to date, exceeding initial expectations.

Barnett Developments, who are behind the apartment complex said they have assembled a "dream team" to sell the popular scheme.

“Our purchasers so far have been a mix of overseas investors to local, young, urban professionals and couples who want live as well as work in the city," Barnett CEO, Nick Barnett said.

"It also includes people who are relocating to Belfast for work. However, the thing that they all have in common is the desire to live in a prime location, right at the heart of the city allowing them to be connected to everything. We are very excited about the results that this collaboration will bring."

Ryan Dougan from Colliers International added:

“It makes sense that smart apartments will require a smart approach to selling. We are expecting this collaboration to be a successful one. With the innovative appeal of Portland 88 we’re confident that it won’t take long to find buyers who are looking for the perfect home in the city centre.”
