ANTRIM Construction Company has started work on its latest development Belmont Hall, which will deliver 400 new homes over the next decade.

The riverside scheme will meet the high demand for quality homes in and around Antrim, and it adds to existing ACC developments currently under construction in Larne, Portadown, Lisburn, Ballynure and Belfast.

Three generations of the McMullan family, owners of ACC, were on site as construction commenced, and registration of interest in the first phase has opened, with the official release scheduled for early 2019, for off-plan purchase.

Antrim Construction’s managing director Philip McMullan said: “Belmont Hall will offer buyers a picturesque riverside location. The whole point is to create ideal homes for living.

"We took the design process very seriously and wanted to create a scheme that would be sensitive to the local landscape. Belmont Hall will have a network of open spaces, with the existing trees and landscaping retained as focal points and dedicated cycle paths will be installed. All of this shows that Belmont Hall represents the next generation in home building.”

Mark Gillespie from selling agents Simon Brien Residential said: “We are sure that Belmont Hall will be a model for family homes in the area. Given its beautiful riverside location, we expect high demand for a neighbourhood that will fit seamlessly into this natural setting.”

Antrim Construction Company was established at Ladyhill Antrim in 1966. It is the principal company in the Ladyhill Holdings Group, now with its headquarters in Holywood (the group also includes Boville McMullan Ltd, a quarry and specialist aggregate company, and Prospect Private Nursing Home).
