Investment and a new look for access specialists BES

MALLUSK-based access, loading and lifting specialists BES has undergone a major relaunch, 18 months after being acquired by its current managing director Alastair Dawson.

Since taking over the business in May last year, he has been keen to build on the strong foundations already in place. And while the outward changes are reflected in new branding, behind the scenes a significant amount of investment and modernisation has been carried out.

"The focus has been on updating the company and building on the strong business that was already in place, and we have invested right across the company, both in terms of equipment and in our staff," he said.

"Our new branding has been important and is central to our new fleet of vehicles, website and PPE, but we have also been updating our in-house systems, with investment in IT solutions and staff training and also gaining key industry accreditations.

"While the majority of our work is hidden at the back of buildings, we feel it is important that we place BES front and centre when it comes to offering our access and loading solutions."

"We offer proven emergency response and maintenance services to customers across Northern Ireland and are trusted by many leading names in various sectors, such as healthcare, education and commercial," he added.

BES has been successfully operating for more than 30 years installing, commissioning and maintaining industrial doors, loading bay equipment and vehicle barriers, with a dedicated team of 20 staff providing expert knowledge and skills to successfully deliver projects to a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors.
