FLEXIBLE workspace provider Glandore is to create 14 full-time jobs as part of £4 million Ireland-wide investment.

The company has made significant investment over the course of the year following the opening of their newest flexible office and co-working spaces in Belfast and Cork.

Established in 2001, Glandore is a family-owned business which has a total of more than 2,800 desks between nine office locations in Belfast, Cork and Dublin.

Managing director Michael Kelly said: “As a family business, we care deeply about building long term connections and relationships with our staff and members.

"As Glandore expands, we’re delighted be adding to our sales, marketing and facilities teams across Ireland. We’re excited by the opportunities that lie ahead and we look forward to the further expansions that are planned over the next 18-24 months.

“We have been providing flexible workspace in Belfast for 12 years and in Dublin for over 17 years. The co-working industry is rapidly expanding and the demand for more of this sort of flexible space is increasing.”

Mr Kelly believes that one of the attractions of Glandore’s co-working offer is this opportunity for start-ups to rub shoulders with FDI companies at the early stage of their journey in the market.

International companies who started their Irish operations in Glandore workspace include Worldpay, Rapid 7, Facebook, Twitter and Dropbox, while overseas investors such as Tullet Prebon, Cayan, Bamboo Rose and Bazaarvoice are among the current or former members of its offices in Belfast.
