ONE of the north's leading commercial law firms has expanded appointed new staff members to its legal team.

In line with growth in its corporate and commercial portfolio, Belfast-based Tughans has carried out a recruitment drive.

Graham Ord has been appointed a director in the private client department which will also welcome Abigail Cairnduff as a paralegal.

Meawnhile the corporate department will increase its headcount with the addition of four associate solicitors - Cassie McCormick, Aimee Craig, Brendan Donnelly and Maria Walsh. They will work alongside award-winning partners Ciara Lagan, who was recently named Dealmaker of the Year and John McGuckian, winner of the title Young Dealmaker of the Year.

Ashley Montgomery joins the firm as a compliance executive and Grace Burns as a paralegal both in the Insurance Litigation department whilst Karen McKenna will take up the position of management accountant.
